Promising Rennes defender Joris Gnagnon has admitted that he is open to moving to either Manchester United or Chelsea in the foreseeable future.
A host of quality young players such as Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy among others have emerged from the Ligue 1 in recent years and now another emerging talent who is making a mark in the French top flight is Rennes defender Joris Gnagnon.
Since breaking into the Rennes first team as a teenager two seasons ago, Gnagnon has gone on to establish himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the French league and due to his exploits, the 20-year-old has already been touted with moves to some of the very best clubs in the world.
It now seems just a matter of time before Gnagnon makes a move away from Rennes and the defender has now gone on to make a huge revelation that he would be open to joining either Manchester United or Chelsea in the not so distant future.
Gnagnon said, “I really like Chelsea as they had a really famous Ivorian player who played there in Didier Drogba. They are a prestigious club. I really like Chelsea and also Manchester United. They are the two clubs that I like the most [in England].”
