Manchester United were consistently linked with Ousmane Dembele in the last transfer window but the player ended up staying at the Nou Camp.
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the £321,000 a week star (ABC) could end up signing for the Red Devils in the summer on a bosman.
According to Sport, on deadline day, the Les Bleus attacker did not want to listen to the proposals of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham in a strange attitude which clearly indicates that he had already reached an agreement to move elsewhere for free in June.
The famous Spanish media outlet have mentioned that Barca believe the 24-year-old may have agreed a deal with either Manchester United or Juventus to complete transfer upon expiry of his contract.
It is stated that Man Utd have made loan offers in the last two summer transfer windows and even wanted to hire him on permanent basis. Therefore, it was surprising that they did not even come up with an official offer last month.
Similarly, Juventus have been linked with Dembele in recent months but they too opted not to move for him in the January window.
For now, the World Cup winning star is going to spend the remaining days of his contract with Barcelona on the sidelines.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months and will keep you updated.
