Manchester United supporters were pleased with the performance of Romelu Lukaku during Saturday’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup fifth round.
Jose Mourinho’s side were not in the best of form for most of the game, but they managed to possess a threat on the counter-attack with Lukaku bagging another brace for himself.
Lukaku has now scored in each outing of this season’s FA Cup campaign, and the goals versus Huddersfield took his overall tally to 21 in 38 appearances in all competitions.
Why don't the Utd players see it?
Give Lukaku the ball, he'll score goals.
It's a very simple premise.
Every week dem starve him of service.
When we don't score goals, they look mystified. ?— Kunley Da Kulprit (@Ward21Music) February 17, 2018

The team did ok. Nothing flamboyant. Professional and controlled display from the rest. Signs of fatigue or the team probably hitting 3rd gear with Sevilla in mind. Mata and Lukaku standouts.

Romelu Lukaku deserves a lot of praise. Both goals were started from him; showed immense composure, strength and ruthlessness in front of goal. Been fantastic today and one of the only players trying to get Man United on the front foot.

Lukaku is a demon man. That is a brilliant ball from Alexis Sanchez. Mad how good Lukaku can be when the ball is played on the ground.

Lukaku has not received the regular service from his teammates in recent outings, but the presence of Juan Mata and Alexis Sanchez either side worked perfectly for the Belgian as they played him through in both halves.
The Belgian was expected to face competition after Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to full fitness earlier in the campaign, but the Swede’s fitness concerns combined with his good form, have made it clear that he is the undisputed choice to lead the line.
Lukaku has yet to score against one of England’s elite clubs, but he will have another chance in the next fortnight with United due to host both Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
