The latest reports confirm that Red keeper Ben Amos has found a new club after being let go from Old Trafford.
The Mail notes: Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos has joined Bolton Wanderers following his release from Old Trafford.
Amos, 25, spent 14 years at United but only made seven first-team appearances for the club, going out on loan to Peterborough, Molde, Oldham, Hull City and Carlisle United before spending a brief spell with Bolton last season.
He played nine Championship games for Neil Lennon’s side and did enough to convince the Bolton boss that he is the ideal candidate to replace Adam Bogdan who is set to sign for Liverpool.
Amos is a highly talented young keeper and despite the likelihood that David De Gea will leave United in the Summer it was never realistic to expect the former academy graduate to succeed the Spanish stopper.
It’s not unexpected that Amos has walked straight into another club and at his age there’s every chance he could be playing in the Premier League one day.
