Yesterday, Norwegian source VG reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer traveled to Salzburg on Friday to discuss the transfer of the 19-year-old striker, who has scored for fun in the current campaign.
According to an exclusive story covered by Mirror Sport, the teenage sensation has told the Norwegian boss that he wants to sign for Manchester United.
This season, so far, Haaland has featured in 22 games in all competitions and directly contributed in 35 goals.
In the Europe’s elite competition, the youngster scored 8 goals and provided an assist in 6 group stage appearances. He found the net at Anfield and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently praised the center forward and said that the starlet is an “exceptional” player (talkSPORT).
His current contract with the Austrian Bundesliga club will expire in 2023 and as per Mirror Sport, he is valued at £80million. The British source claim that the striker has already been to United’s training complex and is eager to join Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
It is amazing if Erling Haaland really wants to sign for us despite interest from clubs who can help him play in the knock-out stages of the Champions League this season.
