Sky Sport journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United have no plans of offloading Paul Pogba during the transfer window despite speculation of a rift with manager Jose Mourinho.
The 25-year-old was inconsistent with his performances during the 2017/18 campaign and he was at one stage dropped from the starting lineup with Scott McTominay taking his position.
Despite this, the Frenchman had a relatively good end to the season with a couple of top-notch displays including one in the Manchester derby and United are now keen on keeping hold of his services.

Judging by United’s summer, Romano has been one of the most trustworthy journalists with regards to any speculation and the £200k-per-week star now appears certain to remain at Old Trafford for the 2018/19 campaign.
United have recently announced the signing of Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk and the Brazilian’s arrival provides an exciting midfield prospect with Pogba and Nemanja Matic making up a solid three-man combination.
Regardless of this, Mourinho is though to be keen on recruiting another midfielder during the off-season and the added competition combined with a solid World Cup showing could trigger a genuine improvement in Pogba’s performances next term.
