Radamel Falcao believes his spell at Old Trafford has made him a more complete player, despite the move widely being panned as a failure.
Falcao joined United late in the transfer window last summer, and despite high expectations failed to hit the heights that made him one of the world’s most feared strikers.
With just 4 goals in his 29 appearances, Falcao was seen as an expensive flop making rumours of a move to Chelsea even more confusing.
Jose Mourinho has vowed to show the world the real Falcao after his failed spell at Old Trafford, but Falcao is more upbeat about his time in North West England, denying that he is on the wane after the ACL injury that forced him to miss last summer’s World Cup:
“It depends what criteria you are using.
“People said I was not on the field and not scoring goals. But Falcao was always there.
“The speculation is not true. I am calm. Today Falcao is a more complete player.”
