Favorites Man Utd confident they’ll secure signing of £190,000-a-week attacker – Report

Manchester United have been linked with Jadon Sancho for quite some time and the England international is a wanted man.

Last week, Mirror Sport revealed that Man Utd are favorites to sign the Borussia Dortmund attacker, who is ready to snub other offers in order to move to Old Trafford.

More recently, Evening Standard have claimed that the Old Trafford outfit are confident they’ll secure the signing of Sancho by beating Chelsea in a bidding war.

It must be remembered that Chelsea have already agreed a deal to sign a top quality attacker in the form of Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech but they have not really been able to replace Belgian superstar Eden Hazard.

At Old Trafford, United splashed the cash to lure Sanchez, who was a superstar at Arsenal, but unfortunately, the Chilean international turned out to be one of the biggest big money flops after joining Man Utd. The South American was loaned out to Inter Milan last summer and Solskjaer has not replaced him as yet.

Sancho, who can effectively play on either flank, is a pacy winger who has regularly scored and created goals for Borussia Dortmund under Lucien Favre.

This season, so far, the 11-capped international has directly contributed in 33 goals (16 goals and 17 assists) in just 33 appearances for BvB in all competitions. So, he would be a top signing taking into consideration that Man United have only managed to score 38 goals in 26 league outings thus far in the current campaign.

The £190,000-a-week (The Mail) star’s current contract with the German Bundesliga club will expire in 2022 and as per Mirror Sport, he is valued at around £120million.
