Favorites Man Utd move early to sign £190,000-a-week attacker – Report

Rice and Sancho for England

Manchester United have been constantly linked with Jadon Sancho since the turn of the year and the latest reports seem very positive.

According to The Telegraph, Man Utd are favorites to sign the Borussia Dortmund attacker, who has been in sensational form since joining the German club before the start of the last campaign.

Transfer: Man Utd have made contact to sign star with £43.6million clause – Face competition

The well-known British outlet have revealed that the Red Devils have made the early running for the 19-year-old winger to make him the club’s record signing in the summer transfer window. At the moment, the Old Trafford outfit’s record signing is French international Paul Pogba, who was lured for a mammoth fee of £89.3million back in 2016.

Sancho has regularly scored goals and provided assists for BvB under the management of Lucien Favre.

In the last campaign, the teenage sensation directly contributed in 32 goals (13 goals and 19 assists) in 43 appearances (all competitions) and deservedly earned a place in the Budesliga Team of the Season.

As far as this season is concerned, the England international’s form has been even better. So far, in 33 outings, the former Man City attacker has already directly contributed in 35 goals (17 goals and 18 assists).

He made his debut for the Three Lions back in 2018 and has scored two goals in 11 appearances thus far under Gareth Southgate.

The £190,000-a-week (The Mail) attacker has been in the lime light due to negative reasons as well. Earlier in the campaign, Dortmund opted to suspend him for one fixture and also fined him for returning late from international duty.

Nevertheless, the youngster is a world class talent, who has what it takes to largely amplify the quality of Manchester United’s attack and Solskjaer must break the bank to lure him.

In your view, is Jadon Sancho good enough to become Man Utd’s record signing?
