Aston Villa star Jack Grealish is once again in the lime light and the recent reports are intriguing.

According to The Mail, the Brimingham based side have slapped a mammoth price tag of £80million on their skipper.

Transfer: Man Utd willing to bid to sign £54million player, who’s tempted by OT project – Face competition

The renowned British media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are favorites to sign the 24-year-old attacking midfielder but would have to meet the above mentioned fee to get his signing done.

Furthermore, it is mentioned that the relegation threatened club are still hoping to keep their prized asset if they stay in the top flight of English football.

Few days back, The Star revealed that the Red Devils would be willing to offer Grealish a salary of £150,000-a-week and the star himself wants to move to Old Trafford even if Villa survive the drop.

Yesterday, the versatile playmaker played for full 90 minutes against Sheffield United, who were highly unlucky not to win the contest. In the first half, the ball clearly crossed the line but the technology did not help this time and the match ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

The English attacker has so far made 32 appearances for his boyhood club this season and directly contributed in 17 goals (9 goals and 8 assists) i.e. he has led from the front and is the top goalscorer and assist provider for Villa.

He has got the talent to succeed at a top side and earlier this month, Michael Owen said that Jack Grealish would fit perfectly at Old Trafford (The Metro).

In your view, should Man Utd splash £80million to get his signing done?
