Manchester United have netted only 34 times in 28 Premier League games this season. They are 15th in the table in terms of scoring goals, even relegation-threatened Wolves have scored more than them.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee are the two strikers the Red Devils currently have. But the Dane has scored only twice in 23 league appearances and hasn’t netted in the last 20 consecutive matches in all competitions.

On the other hand, the Dutchman has scored only three Premier League goals in 28 appearances this campaign and hasn’t netted in the last 15 matches in this competition.
Therefore, it has been reported that Ruben Amorim wants to hire a new striker this summer to address the goal-scoring problems.
TBR Football report that Man Utd are interested in Juventus star, Dusan Vlahovic, and have been keeping a close eye on his situation at Allianz Stadium.
The 25-year-old is set to enter the final year of his current contract this summer and is the highest-paid player at the club. But, the Bianconeri don’t want to hand him a similar salary and want him to take a pay cut.
But, he doesn’t want to accept that hence talks regarding a fresh term have broken down and Thiago Motta’s side are open to selling him for a fee of around £25.1m.
The Red Devils were interested in him in the winter window and Juventus were demanding around £54.8m at that time. So, they are now ready to drop their valuation significantly to avoid losing him for free next year.
However, purchasing Vlahovic won’t be easy for Man Utd as Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also considering signing him by taking advantage of his current situation.
Vlahovic started the season promisingly this term but has found himself out of favour at Juventus following Randal Kolo Muani’s arrival in January. He has scored 14 goals and registered two assists in all competitions thus far this campaign.
The Serbian hasn’t been able to flourish his career since joining from Fiorentina but is set to be available for a bargain deal this summer. Therefore, securing his service might not be that risky.
What do you think, should Amorim’s side hire Vlahovic to bolster the frontline?
