Manchester United need to be very smart with their business this summer as they look to reinforce the squad with new players for Ruben Amorim while ensuring they do not break FFP rules.
To do this, the Red Devils will need to look at bargain deals in the market which can help them achieve this.

The English club have already secured the signing of Matheus Cunha this summer to reinforce the attack.
However, Man Utd need more than just one attacker to build a winning project and as much as they need to sign new players, they also need to ensure to move on players they don’t count on anymore.
Midfield is one position where Man Utd could do with an extra player, especially with Christian Eriksen leaving the club at the end of last season. Now, as per Caught Offside, Man Utd are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.
The report outlines that the asking price for the Italian midfielder has reduced from 50 million euros to 35 million euros (£30million) and United have moved in with an approach.
Should Man Utd sign Davide Frattesi?
Under Simone Inzaghi, Frattesi wasn’t necessarily a regular starter for Inter Milan and he could look to move to a new club to continue his journey.
Inter Milan are going through a period of transition. A cycle came to an end with their humiliation 5-0 loss in the finals of the Champions League to PSG and Inzaghi has now left to move to Al-Hilal. There are players expected to leave too and Frattesi could be one of them.
Man Utd in their current squad have the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte as midfielders on paper. However, when it comes to the holding roles, it leaves the latter two as the only realistic options for the position.
By signing Frattesi, Man Utd will add an extra dimension to the midfield. Perfectly capable of playing alongside a defensive midfielder like Casemiro, the Italian would be able to be the ideal all-engine midfielder that Ruben Amorim’s system desperately craves for and he is also available for a very decent fee.
While negotiations don’t seem advanced between Man Utd and Inter Milan for Davide Frattesi, there is no doubt that signing him for a decent fee would be an excellent acquisition by the Red Devils.
It remains to be seen if there is any truth to this transfer saga and how it plays out in the coming days.
