Frenkie de Jong decided against moving to Manchester United last year but is now tempted to finally agree a move to Old Trafford.
According to talkSPORT, after failing to sign him last summer, Erik ten Hag will try again to secure the creative midfielder in the summer transfer window.

The news source have mentioned that De Jong is attracted by the idea of partnering former Real Madrid star, Casemiro, in the center of the park for Man United.
The Dutch international’s current deal with Barcelona will expire in the summer of 2026 and he earns a salary of around £164,000 a week (The Sun).
De Jong was a key member of the Ajax side that reached the semi finals of the Champions League and won the domestic double in the 2018-19 season under Ten Hag.
Now, the 25-year-old Oranje star is an important player in Xavi’s Barca side who are currently on top of the Spanish La Liga table.
Man Utd have ended their trophy drought and are well on course to earn Champions League qualification for the next campaign.
So, as compared to last year, they will surely be a much more attractive destination for De Jong in the coming summer.
