Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale appears certain to frustrate the Manchester United supporters with reports emerging that he could stay put at the European champions for the 2018/19 campaign.
Back in May, the Welshman sparked doubts over his Los Blancos future after claiming that he needs to be playing week in and week out with the Champions League holders.
As such, there were suggestions that Bale could prefer a Premier League return with United but a deal now appears unrealistic with the 28-year-old keen to work under new boss Julen Lopetegui.

Bale did not enjoy a fond relationship with ex-boss Zinedine Zidane which appeared to encourage his departure but the Frenchman’s shock resignation seems to have changed the Welshman’s stance.
At 28, the former Tottenham man is still in his prime whilst playing for the most successful European club on present form but he may have to fight for his position alongside Spanish duo Isco and Marco Asensio.
Meanwhile, United have yet to add upon the signings of Fred and Diogo Dalot but there are suggestions that the manager is seeking to add an experienced centre-back and a striker, who can play back-up to Romelu Lukaku.
