The Rome based media outlet have mentioned that Garnacho is prepared to accept the transfer to the Italian side to reunite with former Man Utd team-mate, Scott McTominay, who joined the Serie A giants in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old currently earns around 1.5 million euros a season at Old Trafford, and the Naples based side have offered him a deal that will more than double his salary.
It is stated that Garnacho is ready to agree the contract that will make him earn around 4 million euros a year, 20 million euros, £16.8million, in the next five years.
Antonio Conte’s side are ready to pay 50 million euros but the Red Devils want more.
Moving to Italy will give the South American a serious chance of winning the Scudetto this term as Napoli currently lead the table after 20 games.
In the current campaign, so far, Garnacho has started 11 games in the Premier League and scored 3 goals. However, he has only started once in the last five league fixtures under Ruben Amorim.
The Portuguese manager prefers Amad and Fernandes in the AM roles in his 3-4-2-1 formation and the duo have been brilliant lately.
Still, Garnacho is a talented player, who can prove to be an asset in the years to come, and in all fairness, United should hold on to him. What do you think?
