Giroud and Ozil start, 3-4-2-1: Predicted Arsenal XI to face Manchester United

Manchester United face-off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The Red Devils have won three games on the trot, and they now face a testing challenge versus the Gunners, who have won 12 straight Premier League matches on their home turf.

Predicted Arsenal XI (3-4-2-1) vs Manchester United:

Petr Cech has been the Gunner’s prime shot-stopper over the past two-and-a-half seasons. He has been ever-present this campaign, and he can be backed to start his 14th straight Premier League game of the campaign.

The north London side may not change their backline either with Nacho Monreal, Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi set to retain their places in central defence while Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac are likely to feature in the right wing-back and left wing-back positions respectively.

Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka have been the preferred picks for our opposition in midfield, and the pair could start in their respective positions once more. Xhaka switched off on numerous occasions during the 5-0 triumph over Huddersfield Town, and United must take the opportunity to pounce on any weakness.

Further forward, the Gunners are likely to deploy Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the support attacking positions with Olivier Giroud a possible candidate to start up front. Alexandre Lacazette has been the preferred marksman upfront of late, but he will play no part versus United due to a groin injury.
