Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho has issued a positive injury update ahead of Sunday’s Premier League meeting against West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with MUTV, the Portuguese tactician confirmed that there are no injuries from the previous outing, and everyone aside from Sergio Romero are available for selection.

He said: “Everyone is perfect, apart from Romero. All the few players [who were injured] are ready to play.”

Ander Herrera made his long-awaited comeback during the Manchester derby last weekend, and the Spaniard provided a crucial assist for Paul Pogba which spearheaded a tremendous comeback.

Aside from Herrera, the likes of Phil Jones and Daley Blind have recovered from their hamstring and ankle issues respectively, though their participation in the first XI remains doubtful for the weekend.

Meanwhile, Romero has been sidelined with a knee issue sustained during after a collision with Spain’s Diego Costa on international duty, and this could hamper his chances of starting the FA Cup semi-final.

Romero has been the preferred choice for United in the Cup competitions this term, but his absence is nothing to worry about, owing to the stunning form of David de Gea between the sticks.
