Manchester United supporters were ecstatic with the showing of Ander Herrera during Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final meeting against Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley Stadium.
Jose Mourinho’s side found themselves 1-0 down in the early exchanges of the game but a brilliant Alexis Sanchez header ensured that the club went into the interval at 1-1 apiece.
Following the break, United showed the better urgency to find the match-winning and it was eventually found by Ander Herrera, who made a brilliant run to slot the ball past Michel Vorm.
The Spaniard has simply been brilliant since his return from a hamstring problem and the fans went on to express their delight via Twitter following the game.

Herrera’s current deal is due to expire at the end of next season but surely after such a performance, the club’s hierarchy ought to speed up negotiations over a new long-term contract.
United have the FA Cup as the sole route to success this campaign and they should fancy celebrating a record-equalling 13th crown next month, if they can replicate a similar performance.
