Jose Mourinho made four changes from the last match against Crystal Palace as he deployed Ashley Young on the wing and will start with Matteo Darmian at left-back. The Portuguese manager also left Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford on the bench, while Anthony Martial will begin the clash on the left flank. Antonio Valencia is captaining the side and this will be his 300th appearance for the Red Devils.

Liverpool are lining their usual 4-2-3-1 formation with Roberto Firmino up front instead of Daniel Sturridge who got the start in the previous game at Newcastle. The back four remains unchanged as Joe Gomez is getting another start ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
