Manchester United supporters were satisfied with the performance of Romelu Lukaku, who netted the only goal in the 2-1 Premier League win over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
The 24-year-old had a lean patch in the month of October, where he struggled for form, but he appears to have revived his old self, scoring in back-to-back matches versus Bournemouth and West Brom.
Lukaku has received criticism from the club’s faithful for failing to score against top opposition, but the reaction was still positive after three goals in his last four outings across all competitions.
I repeat myself every week. United MUST go out and buy FBs & a RW who cross the ball. Lukaku is deadly in the air. Need to play to his strengths more.

Lukaku’s build-up play – when not isolated – has generally been very good this season. He doesn’t get enough credit for that.

Two headed goals from two beautiful crosses in two consecutive games. Makes you think if Lukaku actually had a consistently good crosser on the wing, he would be scoring tonnes more. #mufc

I like Lukaku’s new attitude. Do your best, let them talk.
Focus.

4 out of Lukaku's 10 league goals have been winners. He's also scored or assisted on 14 goals in the PL, only Salah has been involved more. He's been instrumental to our success.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepping up his fitness, Lukaku does not have much leeway in the coming months, but his start has been impressive with 14 goals in 24 appearances.
Mourinho has been reluctant to play Zlatan quickly owing to his trailing age, but the Swede could make his maiden start of the season in the League Cup quarter-final at Bristol City.
The likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial can also seamlessly fit into the centre-forward position, and Lukaku is expected to have stronger competition than earlier thought.
