Manchester United fans were disappointed with Alexis Sanchez’s showing in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils had come into the game on the back of a five-match winning run, but they succumbed to a rather surprise loss which ensured Manchester City lifted the English crown.
Sanchez has looked a different player since the international break with valuable contributions against Swansea and City, but his performance was way off the mark against West Brom, like several other teammates.
All very congested for United when they go forward. Mata and Sanchez both wanting to drift inside. Pogba, Herrera and Lukaku already there. Tripping over themselves at the moment.

Sanchez has been abysmal. He's probably had 90 decent minutes in total since he joined

Martial compliments Pogba on left, Sanchez creates traffic jam on the left

Sanchez, Mata, Lukaku all played 90 mins and did nothing but, Rash and Martial are being blamed… Ok, you and Mourinho deserve each other soooo much. I’m outta here loooool

Sanchez is the worst player to ever wear a United no. 7 shirt. Horrific, terrible, can't beat a grandma. #MUFC

The Chilean was not the sole player to under perform during the game, but they are high expectations on his shoulders, having been picked ahead of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford to start on the left-wing.
Sanchez likes to make tireless runs from a deeper position on the left, but this did not work out on Sunday where his combination with Paul Pogba was average to say the least.
Jose Mourinho cited after the game that his players were complicating things, and despite introducing the likes of Martial and Rashford, he could not save the club from a rather shocking defeat.
‘Horrific’, ‘terrible’, Man United fans blame attacker after West Brom defeat, don’t blame Sanchez he should never have been at United Mourinho is to blame for that, just another brick in his intention of destroying United on and off the pitch.
