The 18-year-old has to be extremely talented that the Red Devils have splashed a decent fee to sign him that too during the pandemic.

Solskjaer has admitted that the teenage sensation will need time to settle at Old Trafford. The question is, how would Man United line up when he does get the chance to shine in the first team?
The youngster mainly impressed in the Youth team of Atalanta last season as he regularly scored and created goals from the right wing. He made his debut for the first team under Gasperini last year vs Udinese and even managed to net his debut goal.
Unfortunately, this season, he mostly warmed the bench and only managed to feature in just 2 appearances for the Italian side.
In the European Cup, he played for just 20 odd minutes in a contest that ended 1-1 against. Midtjylland. On the other hand, he played for 13 minutes in the 2-0 loss vs Hellas Verona in the league.
Right wing is arguably the weakest position in Man Utd’s attacking third. The Old Trafford outfit tried to strengthen the area in the summer but were unable to sign Sancho/Dembele.
As per The Athletic, Amad Diallo is technically good and really fast and without doubt, he has what it takes to fill that problematic right wing position. Furthermore, taking stats into consideration, it has been observed that the Ivorian has excellent close control, a low center of gravity for sharp turning, and impressive acceleration, which means that he can be slotted on the flank at Man United.
This term, the likes of James and Greenwood have not been able to perform well in the RW role and if they do not improve then it will not be surprising to see young sensation in the first team.
Here is how Man United can line up with Amad Diallo:
