4-2-3-1: Man Utd’s strongest possible XI vs Leeds

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United have so far secured two major signings by hiring the services of Jadon Sancho and Rapahel Varane but the duo would probably not make the starting XI at the weekend.

The Red Devils will collide against Leeds United in the opening PL game and Solskjaer has recently confirmed that the new signings would be on the bench (via MEN).

In such a scenario, we can expect Victor Lindelof to start in the central defense with Harry Maguire in front of Spanish shot stopper, David De Gea.

As far as the fullback positions are concerned, English duo of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw would likely get the nod to start.

In the center of the park, Nemanja Matic may retain his place after starting vs Everton and to partner him, we can expect record signing Paul Pogba to return.

In the attacking third, with Sancho unlikely to start, Mason Greenwood should play on the right flank. Since Rashford is not fit, Daniel James may start on the left wing and in the absence of Cavani, Martial would start as the main center forward up front.

Portuguese playmaker, Bruno Fernandes, must start in the No.10 role behind the French forward. Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Leeds:
