Manchester United are once again linked with Arsenal star Mesut Ozil. According to an exclusive report covered by The Express yesterday, Mourinho could move in to sign the retired German international.
The 29-year-old playmaker is a unique talent, who has proved his worth over the years. He was influential in helping Germany win the 2014 World Cup.
Under Mourinho, Ozil was the assist king at the Bernabeu and helped the team win the La Liga title in 2012. The question is, how will Man United utilize him if he does end up moving to Old Trafford?

The former Real Madrid star can play in multiple attacking positions but naturally, he plays in the hole behind the main center forward.
Currently, Emery is deploying him on the right wing but he is more effective from the No. 10 role. Ozil does not have the pace and dribbling ability of a winger and therefore, we can expect Mourinho to use him as a central attacking midfielder if he does join United.
The Gunners are in the Europa League, therefore, if the Red Devils do qualify for the KO stages of the Champions League and Ozil opts to join them then he will be able to play in the Europe’s elite competition this season.
Here is how Manchester United could line up with the Arsenal star.
