Juventus are reportedly maintaining their interest in Anthony Martial and they are apparently eyeing a summer deal which is similar to that of Brazilian attacker Douglas Costa.
Martial’s future has been the topic of speculation over the past few months and the Bianconeri have on a number of occasions being deemed as the favourites to acquire his services.
According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri remain intent on signing the former Monaco man and they are reportedly eyeing a temporary deal for next season with the obligation to buy.
Martial has enjoyed a strong season with United with 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions but his future remains in doubt having dropped down the pecking order in 2018.
Until January, the Frenchman had been a regular presence on the left side of United’s attack but the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January has not done him much favours with just three league starts since February.
Martial’s current contract is due to expire at the end of the 2018/19 season, and there is every possibility that he could pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere unless he can reclaim a regular role in the coming weeks.
Leading striker Romelu Lukaku has sustained a minor ankle problem which could open up a starting slot, though Marcus Rashford remains the favourite to feature in that position.
