Mourinho Urges Man United board To Sign this 26-year-old Star Player

According to reports from the Metro, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is currently at odds with the club hierarchy over the potential signing of Riyad Mahrez.

Jose Mourinho’s desire to bring in a new winger to Old Trafford this summer has been well documented but after missing out on the services of top targets Ivan Perisic and Gareth Bale, the Portuguese boss has had to reassess his targets.

Now according to recent reports, United have focused their attention towards signing with Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez and the Red Devils will be able to complete the move for the Algerian international for a fee of around £50million.

Mahrez wants to leave the King Power Stadium this summer and on paper, the prospective transfer seems like a straightforward deal for Manchester United.

However it has now been claimed that although Mourinho wants Mahrez, the Manchester United board is not entirely convinced regarding the 26-year-old and the Red Devils manager will need to convince his bosses in order for them to sanction the transfer for the Algerian international.
