Jose Mourinho has dropped a surprise transfer hint about £60million star: report

Willian Chelsea

Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho has seemingly ruled out a summer move for Willian as he believes Chelsea will block any approach for the Brazil international.

Willian has been one of the Blues’ consistent performers in recent seasons but this has witnessed him being associated with a possible reunion with Mourinho at the end of the campaign.

However, speaking in his press-match conference, Mourinho dismissed the club’s chances of signing Willian with his former employers unlikely to do business for the attacker.

“Who knows we can have a Brazilian in the squad next year. I don’t believe it will be Willian, because Chelsea won’t make it possible,” he is quoted as saying by ESPN.

The £60million-rated star in undoubtedly one of the Premier League’s top performing players and he would seemingly be an upgrade on the right side of the attack at Old Trafford.

Nevertheless, Mourinho has now rubbished the speculation and the Portuguese is more keen on bolstering the midfield and defensive department for the 2018/19 season and beyond.

Both Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini had initially been expected to leave Old Trafford but of late, the manager has confirmed that the latter could stay put at Old Trafford beyond the summer.

  1. Let Moriho buy hundredth players, he would not get it right with his defensive philosophy until when he starts playing attacking football. Martial is far better like Argen Roben. Man United only needs to off load many of her full back and play those that can serve the wingers upfront in counter attack pattern. Man United four back are still the major issue that draws back the attackers in the pitch. Beside, Man United needs to get specialists in each position. I always hate utility players. This problem affected Dimaria and the problem still persists. why?

  2. Jose to loose martial is a big big mistake not unless u want to swap to Chelsea attacter William then its at least but don’t let him go. fellaini its your time to left, Herrera if Fred lands oldtraford don’t waste your time better you left
