‘I feel so sorry for Arsenal fans’, ‘it is a terrible thing to observe’… Jose Mourinho feels Pity — claims Morgan

As quoted by the Daily Star, Piers Morgan has claimed that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho feels sorry for the Arsenal fans.

Arsene Wenger is arguably one of the finest ever managers in the history of Arsenal football club but the Frenchman has gone through a lot of struggle over the past decade or so.

Under his tutelage, Arsenal have regressed over the past 10 years and as a result, there has been mounting pressure on Wenger to leave the Emirates Stadium.

However, the board at Arsenal have complete faith in Wenger and the Frenchman signed a new two year extension at the club this summer – much to the displeasure of the Gunners’ faithful.

Arsenal have once again started off their campaign in terrible fashion this season and celebrity Gunners fan Piers Morgan has wasted no time in continuing his agenda against Wenger.

Recently, Morgan met up with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho to discuss Wenger and has claimed that the Red Devils’ manager feels sorry for the Arsenal fans due to the fact that the 67-year-old simply refuses to leave the North London club.

Morgan claims Mourinho told him after meeting the Special One, “I feel so sorry for you Arsenal fans. I have some very good friends who love Arsenal like you do and they are just as depressed as you about the club. They suffer so badly, it is a terrible thing to observe.”

Morgan then added that Mourinho hopes Wenger stays in north London, saying “Mourinho then burst out laughing. ‘Terrible… hahahahaha’. How the hell is Arsene Wenger still in his job?’ I [Morgan] asked. ‘No idea,’ Mourinho smirked, ‘but I hope he stays in it for a very long time…’”
