According to reports from the Daily Express, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho had viewed Monaco star Kylian Mbappe as a priority target this summer.
Kylian Mbappe had managed to take the footballing world by storm after guiding Monaco to the French Ligue 1 title as well as to the semi finals of the Champions League and he did so at the tender age of just 18.
It is clear to see that Mbappe possesses all the qualities to become a superstar in the not so distant future and as a result, a host of top clubs across Europe have been linked with a move for the teenage sensation this summer.
The likes of Real Madrid and Arsenal have been touted to make moves for Mbappe throughout the current transfer window but it now looks like the French international is said to make a move to PSG instead, initially on loan – with the Parisians set to pay Monaco around £166million next summer.
In recent reports from the Daily Express, revelations can be made that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho had made Mbappe his priority target and was very determined to sign up the winger.
However, the Red Devils ultimately pulled the plug on their pursuit and then opted for Romelu Lukaku instead.
