Jose Mourinho ‘personally monitors’ World Cup winner in a scouting mission: Reports

According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho personally monitors Serbian international Mijat Gaćinović.

Manchester United’s attacking lineup has been in sensational form during the current Premier League campaign and as a testament to this fact; the Red Devils have scored a sensational 21 goals in just 7 matches so far.

Despite the wonderful performances from his attackers though, manager Jose Mourinho is still said to be on the lookout to sign a new winger and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, it has been suggested that the Portuguese boss has cast his eye on Mijat Gaćinović.

Gaćinović is a talented young winger who is currently plying his trade for German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt and the 22-year-old has gone on to impress for the Serbian national team as well.

Due to his promise, Gaćinović is said to have caught the attention of Mourinho and the United boss personally scouted the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup winner during Austria’s World Cup qualifier victory over Serbia at the Ernst Happel Stadion last Friday night.

Mourinho was pictured under a baseball cap as he tried to blend into the crowd and it is believed that he wanted a close look of Gaćinović during the encounter ahead of a potential summer swoop next season.
