Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing veteran midfielder Lass Diarra, who is available as a free agent, according to reports.
Mourinho worked with Lass Diarra briefly during their time together at Chelsea and although the pair fell out at the time – both the manager and the player are still believed to have immense respect for each other.
Since their time together at Chelsea, both Mourinho and Diarra’s careers have moved in different directions – with the Frenchman playing at multiple clubs as a journeyman, akin to the Portuguese tactician’s managerial career.
Now according to shock reports, it looks like Diarra will finally get a chance to reunite with Mourinho towards the twilight of his career as reports have stated that the United boss is tempted to make a move for the veteran free agent in January.
Diarra has been without a club since he was released by Al Jazira recently and Mourinho is believed to be open to the idea of swooping in for the 32-year-old on a short term deal in order to help revive the Red Devils’ flailing campaign.
