Jose Mourinho will Move to Sign £90m Attacker Next Summer

Manchester United will reportedly retain their interest in Gareth Bale in 10 months’ time with Jose Mourinho eager to add a world-class winger to his ranks.

The Red Devils had lodged a late approach to sign the Wales international this summer, but their attempt was rebuffed by Real Madrid, who were not keen on losing the attacker.

However, according to The Sun, the European champions could be willing to do business next summer with the likes of Isco and Marco Asensio having become influential players under Zinedine Zidane.

Bale is still keen on fighting for his future at the Bernabeu, but his position is seemingly under threat with the Spanish pair also competing for the right-wing spot – to partner the likes of Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Red Devils had tried to pursue Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic for most of this summer’s transfer window, but it appears that Mourinho has set his sights on signing Bale next year, although he could be relatively expensive at £90m.

Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann could potentially be another target for the Red Devils, but Diego Simeone’s decision to extend his contract may have a direct influence on the Frenchman’s future.

Manchester United are currently top of the league standings with a 100 percent record. They take on Stoke City in an away game at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
