Club to sacrifice £153k-a-week star with Man Utd ‘ready’ to seal signing – Report

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

According to reports in Italy, Juve are willing to sacrifice Gleison Bremer with Man Utd ready to seal his signing in the next transfer window.

As per a story published by Calcio Mercato yesterday, the Bianconeri need to raise cash and for that, the big player to be sacrificed will be the Brazilian international.

Transfer: Man Utd ready to press to sign £60million star in summer – Report

The Italian media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are ‘ready’ to secure the South American from the Old Lady.

It is stated that Juventus price their prized asset at around 65 to 70 million euros and if United come up with a cheque of the same value, then the transfer will surely happen.

The Serie A giants are looking to hire the services of Bologna defender, Riccardo Calafiori, to replace Bremer, who earns around £153k-a-week in Turin.

Man Utd need a complete revamp of their central defense for the next campaign if they are to challenge the best teams in the country.

This season has been marred by injuries to key defenders and the absence of Lisandro Martinez has been a huge concern for the Red Devils.

For Varane, Maguire, Evans and Lindelof, the best days are long gone, they should be allowed to leave and United must spend to sign at least two center backs.

Bremer has been a hit in Italy but is he good enough to perform in England? Only time will tell.

In your view, should Man Utd spend around 65-70 million euros to seal his signing?
