Eric Cantona tells Jose Mourinho to sign 28-year-old South American star

Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has stated that he wants to see the Red Devils acquire the services of Paris Saint-Germain star Javier Pastore.

Javier Pastore has been a crucial figure in helping PSG establish themselves as one of the elite clubs in Europe since joining the Parisians from Palermo back in 2011 but the 28-year-old has struggled for regular minutes on the pitch during the current campaign due to the influx of big names to the Parc des Princes recently.

As a result, it is widely expected that Pastore could leave PSG during the upcoming January transfer window and although the Argentine international has not featured much this season, the legendary Eric Cantona has urged Manchester United to take a chance on the attacker this winter.

He said, “I love Pastore who plays for PSG but he doesn’t play. Yes, why not? But Pastore is very special he surprises you every time he touches the ball, he will surprise you and give the ball to someone that no one saw.

“He surprises all the fans. I think he’s a great player. He plays for Argentina but he doesn’t play for Paris which is a small club.”

Pastore is certainly a quality player but with Manchester United currently pursuing the services of Mesut Ozil, it seems unlikely that Jose Mourinho will look to swoop for the PSG man.
