According to The Sun, Liverpool are ahead of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Deportivo La Coruna forward Pinchi. The 22-year-old is reportedly out of contract in the summer and could move on from the Estadio Riazor for a small fee as compensation.
Pinchi has scored six goals in 22 games for the reserve side this season, and is believed to have impressed the Liverpool scouts enough for them to make a move. His low price means the Reds can strengthen their attack with a pacey addition without much financial risk involved.
Despite him playing in the third tier, the report states Manchester United and Tottenham also have Pinchi on their radar. It would be hard for the Spaniard to dethrone the likes of Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial, however.
Tottenham have less depth in attack and could accommodate the Depor man in the squad, although Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura are likely to be ahead of the 22-year-old in the pecking order.
Manchester United might have their sights set on bigger targets given the links to Christian Pulisic, Gareth Bale and Isco, so Pinchi might not be coming to Old Trafford.
