Liverpool’s predicted 4-2-3-1 XI – Man Utd unlikely to win

Liverpool have won all their fixtures this month and they will face arch rivals Manchester United on Sunday.

The Reds have been solid at the back but fortunately for United, Klopp is facing a few injury concerns in his back line. Central defenders Gomez and Matip are out injured and as per Liverpool Echo, even RB Alexander-Arnold is a doubt.

Therefore, Milner, who played as a right back vs Bournemouth could play in the fullback position again. Lovren made a substitute appearance vs Napoli and he could start with Van Dijk in the central defense.

In the midfield, Klopp could rest Wijnaldum and Henderson and opt to start Fabinho and Keita. Shaqiri will likely return to start with Firmino and Mane in the attack behind Salah.

Liverpool’s predicted 4-2-3-1 XI:
Alisson – Milner, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson – Fabinho,  Keita – Shaqiri, Firmino, Mane – Salah

Even as a Manchester United supporter, I feel it is highly unlikely that Mourinho’s men can beat the in-form Liverpool side.

The Red Devils have lost two, drawn one and won one of their four fixtures this month and at Anfield, things are not going to be easy as Liverpool are undefeated and have only conceded 1 goal in 7 league outings in home games this season.

The Merseysiders have the second best attack in the league and Salah is back at his best. In addition, they have the best defense and have only conceded 6 goals. On the other hand, United have already conceded 26 times.

Mourinho has not lost against Liverpool as the manager of Manchester United but it will not be a shock if that unbeaten run ends this weekend.
