Manchester United supporters were overwhelmed with the performance of Romelu Lukaku during Monday’s 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Eagles went into a 2-0 lead during the initial stages of the second period, but a Chris Smalling header shortly after, helped United stage a dramatic comeback in the south of London.
Lukaku netted the key leveller in the 76th minute of the game, and this allowed the players to push the winner which ultimately came from a brilliant injury-time strike from Nemanja Matic, who scored his maiden United goal.
Brilliant comeback by United. Thought Lukaku deserved particular credit for second half performance

Romelu Lukaku most selfless player in this United squad? I think so. Man is criminally underrated.

The patience Lukaku showed there was great. He waited and waited until he had a clear route to goal, then took his chance. Quality goal.

Don't underestimate the finish from Romelu Lukaku to make it 2-2. Took his time, showed fantastic composure and found a gap through a very crowded penalty area. Superb goal. Has been in fantastic form.

Lukaku’s big-game ability has come in question over the course of the current campaign, but he proved his worth last month, where he notched a goal and assist during the 2-1 triumph over Chelsea.
The Belgium international continued the effort with another good performance against the Eagles, especially in the second period, and the fans will expect him to maintain his scoring run against Liverpool this weekend.
Lukaku missed a glorious opportunity to score during the goalless draw at Anfield earlier in the season, and he will surely be aiming to make amends by adding to his 14-goal tally in the Premier League.
