Manchester United are looking to improve their attack in the summer transfer window and once again, the name of Adama Traore is in the focus.

Back in May, Le10Sport exclusively revealed that the Red Devils have positioned themselves to sign the Spaniard, who has been in top form for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the current campaign.

Transfer: Man Utd prepared to press to finally sign £250,000-a-week playmaker – Face competition

More recently, it has been claimed that since Sancho is going to cost a lot, Man United could move to sign an alternative and the 24-year-old Wolves star is on the radar.

Renowned The Times’ journalist told on Transfer Window Podcast (via The Sun):

“There is an interest in Adama Traore but I do not see them going to the levels that Wolves are asking, for that player, it’s a similar level to what Dortmund are asking.”

The Sun claim that the former Barcelona man is valued at £90million but according to Football Insider, the Molineux outfit want £70million for their prized assset.

Traore has one main edge over Jadon Sancho i.e. he has proved his worth in the Premier League against the best of teams. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men did the double over Manchester City this season and both home and away, the Spanish attacker was the best player on the field.

He netted two goals at the Etihad and scored a goal and provided an assist at Molineux to help his team earn victory over the then PL champions. The speedy attacker was even impressive against current champions Liverpool (provided an assist at home).

Overall, in 24 league starts so far, the speedy attacking star has directly contributed in 13 goals this term and his partnership with Raul Jimenez up front has been highly successful.

In your view, should Man United move to sign Adama Traore if they fail to lure Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window?
