Manchester United are linked with numerous top players and as per recent reports, Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez has been in the lime light.
According to Spanish source Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils are linked with a potential January move to sign the Argentine international, who is valued at 111 million euros (£96million).
Transfer: Man United to move in to sign “extraordinary” £40million midfielder
Last month, FC Inter News covered an exclusive report and claimed that the 22-year-old center forward is high on Man United’s wish list but he is also wanted by Catalan giants Barcelona.
The Italian news outlet reported that the South American striker’s current contract with the Nerazzurri will expire in 2023 and it has a mammoth release clause of 111 million euros (£96million).
We sold Lukaku to Inter Milan in the summer transfer window and have not replaced him as yet. So far, the Belgian international and Martinez are starting regularly under the management of Italian boss Antonio Conte.
The Serie A side are currently just a point behind league leaders Juventus in the table and the former Chelsea boss would surely not want to lose his star striker in the middle of the season. Nevertheless, we lack quality and depth in our strike-force and should push to sign him.
In all competitions, Martinez has made 13 appearances so far and directly contributed in 9 goals. The young striker has already shown his quality in the Champions League. He scored against Barca at the Nou Camp and also found the net vs Dortmund at the San Siro.
His record for the national side is great as well. So far, in 15 games for the La Albiceleste, he has netted 9 goals. In your view, should United splash £96million to secure his signing in January?
Manchester United is noted for targeting all the players in the whole world without buying ,in the end,end up buying mediocre. call a spade a spade for once please.
I dont believe anything coming out of Old Trafford buying players. Thats the game. These people are not serious, wont be a suprise if Man Utd finally gets relegated.
Lets consider this: Would our attacking line or mid fielders make it into teams like CITY, LIVERPOOL, TOTTENHAM,BAYERN, DORTMUND, PSG, MADRID, BARCELONA, JUVENTUS, AC MILAN? Wheres all the money going? We were better than these teams, now we got to battle West Ham, Bournemouth, Wolves!
Glory Glory Man United!
These men at the top, and their players are joking.
Rashford leading the attack in Manchester United! The waves of an immense sadness break in me.
Man United may never get anywhere better with Ed Woodward and OGS in charge, particularly, OGS, Get rid of these people including underperforming players like Lingard,Fred,Shaw ,Pereira,Jones,Matic, and few others, rebuild, restrategize, replace with functional and qualitative manager,
