If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are willing to give up their pursuit of Jadon Sancho and they have an alternative in sight.
According to The Independent, Man United have made contact to sign Ismaila Sarr from Watford, who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

The famous British outlet have mentioned that the Red Devils face competition from champions Liverpool but the Reds might not have the financial power to complete his signing this summer.
The Independent claim that at least £30million would bee needed to hire his services from the Championship club. However, last month, renowned Sky Sports reporter, Kaveh Solhekol, claimed that the Senegalese international could leave the Hornets for a fee as high as £50million.
Sarr joined Watford last year and had an impressive PL campaign in which he directly contributed in 11 goals (Transfermarkt).
In December 2019, at Vicarage Road, the African star was MOTM vs Manchester United. He scored a goal and provided an assist in a contest that the home side won 2-0.
Not just that, in February 2020, Sarr directly contributed in 3 goals against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side to end their record equaling 18-game winning run.
So, the 22-year-old has the talent to win games single-handedly and Old Trafford legend Gary Neville is a huge admirer of the winger. Back in July, he heavily praised the youngster and said (via The Metro):
“Manchester United need a right winger. He’s (Sarr) a big, big talent, honestly he really is.”
In your view, should Solskjaer splash the cash to sign Ismaila Sarr before the end of the summer transfer window next month?
Media stop putting out the same old news that Man.Utd are edging closer on buying this player and that player and the boring saga of Jadon Sancho also of telling us that is on and then it is off. I wonder who is giving us cock and bull stories. It is so bad for a club like Man.Utd still lagging behind transfers whereas all other clubs have done brilliant signings.
man utd are finding it hard to bring in top talented players,
due to the fact that they drag they feet when trying to buy players, (nothing changed there then), what man utd need is an top class MANAGER, bring in an top class manager you will bring in top class players, and man utd need someone who can get deals over the line, instead of pussy footing around,
