Man United prepared to agree £90million signing, believe move will be sealed

Rice and Sancho for England

Manchester United have been chasing Jadon Sancho since the past few months. The question is, will they be able to seal his signing before the closure of the summer transfer window next month?

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are ready to make a take it or leave it offer to Dortmund in order to lure the England international.

According to Mirror Sport, Man United are prepared to agree the signing of Sancho for a fee of £90million and have made it clear that they will not offer a penny more.

The Bundesliga giants have consistenly demanded £108million for their prized asset but the Old Trafford outfit will not match that asking price.

Not sure if BvB will change their stance and accept £90million but the renowned British source have mentioned that Man Utd believe the move will be sealed before October’s transfer deadline.

It is further stated that the 20-year-old attacker is eager to move to Old Trafford and has already agreed a contract worth £175,000-a-week.

Thus far, Solskjaer has only managed to sign Van de Beek to improve his midfield department. Despite searching for a right winger for a very long time, the Norwegian manager has not been able to strengthen the position as yet.

Man United struggled to create chances in their opening PL fixture last weekend and apart from Bruno Fernandes, no attacking player managed to hit a shot on target. Therefore, it would be a massive signing if Ole can capture Jadon Sancho.

The Three Lions star was in world class form for Dortmund under the management of Lucien Favre last season. In all competitions, he directly contributed in 40 goals (20 goals and 20 assists). This term, so far, in 2 appearances, he has scored a goal and provided 2 assists.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days but first, United should focus on beating Brighton today.

  1. Another narrow escape now the board should spend to bring players that are ready to compete not those that are weak.

  2. Woodward, and some analysts, claim that no club could spend big this summer due to the economic saga. But you are wrong, a club bid a woopy sum of €150m for ansu fati and barca rejected the beat. In the same vein, selling club like BVB will still play hard. So united should top 10 million to the 90 million so as to tempt dotmund and seal sancho’s deal once and for all. Our people say nothing goes for nothing. This mean if you want something good you got to offer much. To him that is given much, much will be expected. When you give big you get bigger in return. United board should think well before you invite shame to yourself. When you desperately need something, you are to apply desperate measures to show you really need it. And if you fail to claim it you might just find your friend or neighbour with it.
