Man United ready £20million move to secure signing in summer – Face competition

Jude Bellingham Birmingham

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Jude Bellingham in the winter transfer window but the latest updates suggest that the Red Devils will have to wait until the summer to secure his signing.

We take a look at the various reports that linked the Birmingham City starlet with the Old Trafford club this month.

Transfer: £25million star offered to Manchester United, who’ve made their decision – Report

Firstly, Mirror Sport came up with a report and said that the 20-time English champions made an offer of £12.5million for the 16-year-old midfielder.

Few days later, Duncan Castles covered a story for the Record and talked about United’s willingness to pay around £25million to sign the teenage sensation from the Championship side.

After that, The Sun reported that the Red Devils offered more than £30million to hire the services of Bellingham, who is a wanted boy in the continent.

However, today, Evening Standard have revealed that Man Utd are ready to move in with a deal worth £20million to sign the youngster but luring him on deadline day is not their priority and therefore, they will wait for the summer to secure his signing.

Bellingham, who will turn 17 in June, has already played 27 times for Birmingham’s senior team and he has already scored 4 goals in the current campaign as well. He has also scored two goals for England’s U-17 team in three appearances.

If reports are to be believed then it will be fair to say that Man Utd rate the midfielder very highly and if he is really wanted by a host of European clubs then he should be an extremely talented player.

Anyways, for now, we should focus on the transfer deadline which will end in less than two hours. As far as Jude Bellingham is concerned, let’s see if we will be able to get his signing done in the summer.
