Manchester United need to sign quality players but more importantly, they must also hold on to the key stars present in the current squad.
Without doubt, Marcus Rashford is one of the best players at Old Trafford and reports suggest that Man United are ready to agree a huge new deal with him.
Transfer: Report – Man United can agree £41million signing in January – Face competition
According to The Daily Star, the England international is set to be rewarded with a big money deal and negotiations will begin soon.
The British source have revealed that the Red Devils are eager to secure a new contract with him before to keep him out of the hands of the big clubs.
It is stated that Man United are keen to agree a mammoth contract that will make their forward earn £300,000-a-week, £78million in the next five years.
Securing the above mentioned contract would still not make him the highest earner at the club. At the moment, the top grossing star is Spanish goalie David De Gea, who gets around £350,000-a-week (The Guardian).
Rashford has been a consistent performer at Old Trafford and he has been in top class form under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.
In all competitions, the Three Lions attacker has started 16 games and directly contributed in 17 goals (12 goals and 5 assists). Lately, Belgium’s national coach, Roberto Martinez, heavily praised the 39-capped international and stated (via The Mail):
“He took a few minutes to score a hat-trick in the Champions League, it is a much more mature Rashford for United and for England too. When you have the pace and composure on the ball you have a special striker.”
Rashford is extremely important at Old Trafford and he surely deserves to earn a bumper pay rise. What do you think?
Indeed he is a very good player, trust when days turn for him you will see him like a genius.
This shouldn’t make a headline, it is a matter of urgency. Rashford deserve more than that.
He is worth everypenny..
He deserves a contract now
indeed he deserves that. Hope to see also Bruno reward the same.
He is a consistent top performer, one of the best players/ strikers any club would want to have. He deserves more. A future club captain.
Keep wasting your money. That is what you are good at doing. 50 goals in 5 years and still doesn’t have goal sense. Always shooting when he should pass or place. There are lots of players better than him collecting less than 150k a week. Spoilt English Benteke
