Manchester United have been interested in hiring the services of Adrien Rabiot for some time and the French international is linked with a move away from Juventus.
According to Calcio Mercato, the former PSG man has not returned to the Italian club as yet and it is possible that he could leave the Old Lady after just one season.
Transfer: Man Utd prepared to agree lucrative terms to sign star with £98million clause – Face competition
The renowned Italian source have mentioned that the likes of Man United and Everton are serious about signing the midfielder, who could leave the Serie A champions for a maximum fee of 30 million euros (£26million).
Juventus have made a habit of buying midfielders on a free transfers. In the current squad, apart from Rabiot, midfielders like Khedira and Ramsey were also lured for nothing.
Not to forget, the Bianconeri also lured German midfielder Emre Can from Liverpool in 2018 but Kaiser was loaned out and then sold to Dortmund in the most recent transfer window.
Rabiot mainly warmed the bench in the first couple of months but before the suspension of football, he became a regular starter under the guidance of Sarri.
The 25-year-old can play in multiple positions in the center of the park but he has not been able to score any goal or provide even a single assists for Juve in 24 appearances thus far.
He netted 24 goals in 227 appearances and won every major domestic title in France during his time with Paris Saint-Germain.
Man United do need to improve things in the center. Solskjaer has not been able to strengthen the department since becoming the head coach of the club and that is one area he must improve as soon as possible.
In your view, should Man Utd splash £26million to sign Adrien Rabiot in the summer transfer window.
