Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Manchester United lost Cavani on a bosman last summer and next summer, Cristiano Ronaldo will be free to leave.

The Red Devils need to replace the veterans by signing a quality young forward and reports in the media suggest that they are keen on hiring the services of Youssoufa Moukoko.

As per a story covered by Sport Bild, Man United have set their sights on signing the 17-year-old sensation, who has been in sensational form for Borussia Dortmund in the current campaign.

The youngster’s current deal at the Signal Iduna Park will expire in the summer next year and as per the German source, he could sign a new deal with the club.

It is stated that Liverpool are also interested in luring Moukoko, whose current market value is more than 30 million euros (£26million).

At Old Trafford, United lack quality out and out center forwards. The likes of Martial and Rashford are not natural strikers and Ronaldo is clearly past his best.

It must be remembered that since Robin van Persie netted 26 goals in the 2012-13 Premier League campaign, no Man United player has managed to score more than 20 league goals in a season.

In the current campaign, Moukoko has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in just 7 starts in the Bundesliga for Dortmund.

In the absence of injured Reus, Germany have even opted to select the teenage forward to travel with the squad for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

In your opinion, should Man Utd spend £26million to sign Youssoufa Moukoko in the January transfer window?
