The transfer saga surrounding Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has dragged on for far too long with Manchester United heavily in the focus.
Last week, The Daily Record revealed that the Red Devils have agreed a fee with the Eagles to hire the services of the England international. However, the latest reports going on in the British media have contrasting views.
Transfer: Man Utd’s chances of signing £58million star have really increased
According to Evening Standard and Sky Sports, the Old Trafford club have so far failed to agree a fee with the London based club, who want £50million up-front for the young right back.
The Independent have claimed that Crystal Palace are holding out for a deal worth £70million with bonuses and want £50million cash guaranteed for their prized asset.
On the other hand, The Sun have claimed that the player is set for Man United medical. England were eliminated from the European Under-21 Championship, so the player will head for vacations and afterwards he will link up with the Red Devils for pre-season next month.
Usually, medical can only be completed and terms of contract can only be discussed once the fee has been agreed. The Sun have talked about a £55million switch and claimed that the 21-year-old will join United for pre-season. Should we believe that a fee has been agreed? I’d say it is better if we wait for an official announcement.
The good thing is that United seem very serious about getting the signing done. As per The Telegraph, after further talks with Palace, the Red Devils are hopeful of finally reaching an agreement to lure Wan-Bissaka and as per Evening Standard United want the signing to be sealed in days (this week).
This transfer saga for Manchester united is boring us funs too much delays while other clubs hijack our targets.
