Manchester United are linked with several center halves this month and the latest name in the focus is that of Alessandro Buongiorno.
According to an exclusive story covered by FT, Man Utd owners have set sights on luring the 24-year-old center back, who has been in top form this season.

The news source have mentioned that Torino are prepared to listen to offers to sell the Italian international in the January transfer window.
It is stated that an offer of £26m (30 million euros) from Man Utd will get the signing done this month. Buongiorno still has more than four years left on his contract with the Serie A side.
In the current campaign, the 6ft 2 defender has been solid at the back and also productive in the attacking third.
So far, he has started 17 games in the league and helped the Turin based club keep 9 clean sheets. Moreover, he has netted 3 goals and provided an assist as well.
Last year in June, he made his debut for the senior national side in the UEFA Nations League third-place playoff vs the Netherlands and won the bronze medal.
Back in November, he featured in the 0-0 Euro 2024 qualification fixture against Ukraine. If he continues to play well then it will not be surprising to see him in Italy’s squad for the European Championships.
In 2015, Man Utd signed Darmian from Torino. Should they now splash £26m to sign Alessandro Buongiorno before the closure of the winter transfer window?
