Man Utd, above all, can agree £45.8million fee to secure signing – Report

Koulibaly and Skriniar

Manchester United have already let in 41 goals in 30 Premier League games this term and things must be tightened at the back to have any chance of fighting for top prizes next season.

As per reports going on in the media, the Red Devils are linked with several top center backs and one of them is Milan Skriniar.

Transfer: Man United make crazy offer to sign £33million star – Decision made

According to a report published by La Gazzetta Dello Sport today (press image provided below), Inter Milan are looking to extend the contract of the Slovakian player to ward off the interest from Spurs and above all, Man Utd.

The well-known Italian media outlet have mentioned that Skriniar’s current deal with the Nerazzurri will expire in 2023 and they are preparing lucrative fresh terms to tie him down until 2026. They call it “The Anti-Premier League Plan”.

GdS claim that the Serie A champions may have to sell a top player in the summer but Skriniar is untouchable and they are relatively calm about his renewal.

However, it is stated that if Inter do face an attack from Man Utd or Tottenham then a fee of 55 million euros (£45.8million) would have to be agreed for Skriniar.

The 27-year-old is one of the best defenders in the Serie A and was the defensive leader of Antonio Conte’s squad that won the Scudetto last season.

This term, so far, in 27 league appearances, he has helped Inter keep 10 clean sheets and has netted 3 goals as well.

Have your say – Should Man Utd pay £45.8million to sign Milan Skriniar?
