Manchester United should move to reinforce their attack in the winter transfer window and reports indicate they are interested in signing Federico Chiesa.

According to Calcio Mercato, the Italian International could end up leaving Juventus and the Red Devils admire the playmaker, who is also wanted by Bayern, Newcastle and Saudi clubs.

The 25-year-old star’s current deal with the Bianconeri will expire in 2025 and the media outlet have mentioned that a fee close to £43.3million (50 million euros) would get his signing done.

Chiesa can feature on either flank, as a secondary striker and even as an out and out center forward if needed.

In the current campaign, the Euro 2020 winner has mainly played as a secondary striker under Allegri, scored four goals and provided an assist for the Old Lady.

At Man Utd, Erik ten Hag needs to improve the wide offensive positions. A lot of cash was splashed to lure the likes of Jadon Sancho and Antony.

However, the duo have failed to live up to their hefty price tags. The Brazilian international is yet to score/create a goal for the Old Trafford outfit this season.

On the other hand, Sancho has only featured for 79 minutes and has been out since the start of last month due to his broken relationship with the manager.

So, a top playmaker must be lured in the January transfer window and Federico Chiesa is a proven quality superstar.

In your view, should Man Utd offer £43.3million to sign the Azzurri man?
