Manchester United star, Jadon Sancho, directly contributed in over 30 goals in each of his three seasons with Dortmund before moving to Old Trafford.

However, the winger has been a flop since joining the Red Devils and after a breakdown with relationship with manager, Erik ten Hag, he is close to returning to the German Bundesliga club.

Transfer: Man Utd move in to finally sign £70m-£90m star – Report

According to Sky Sport journalist, Florian Plettenberg, a deal between Man Utd and BvB is close to being sealed for the transfer of Sancho.

The German reporter claims the attacker will join on loan for six months and only small details need to be sorted.

According to today’s print version of The Mail, Sancho earns 290,000 a week, around £15.1million a year at Old Trafford.

Dortmund cannot afford to pay such heavy wages and in such a scenario, Man Utd will be paying around £100,000 a week to send him the 23-year-old on loan.

The British news outlet have mentioned that the PL side will be paying Sancho around £2.5million but will save up to £5million on his salary between now and the end of June.

The 23-capped England international has made 82 appearances for United, scored 12 goals and provided just 6 assists.

He made three substitute appearances for Ten Hag this term but will he ever play at Old Trafford under the Dutch boss again? Only time will tell.
